Happy 2018! Check out these new laws!

I hope you had a satisfying and restful break. We have 2 1/2 weeks before the end of the semester.

1. Time to check grades on powerschool 

If the assignment is blank or has a 0 - please turn it in so you can get credit for it ASAP!

If you need to retake a quiz, please come after school or during advisory.

If you have questions, find solutions by coming and talking to me.

2. It's time to see how the the world is starting to change in 2018. Let's start with the state of California.


1. grab a  group of 3 - 4 and start researching new laws for 2018

List 5 - 7 new laws (try to find ones that might be unique or surprising.

To what extent should public officials censor their public comments?

Ex: Public statements from leading officials, such as The president, congress, and the judiciary branch need to amend their opinions and comments to be culturally sensitive and inclusive of all groups.
